Galahs in a chimney stack

I saw this quirky thing today in the car, while waiting for the lights to change on the corner of Marion Road and Daws Road. There’s a ?? – is it a chimney of some kind?? Gas or who knows what, very tall, and on the top, two galahs, one showing its bottom and one its face. Presumably there is nesting going on (the season starts about now apparently)…
Anyway, here’s nature study for this week, and anyone who has more info about what the chimney thingy is, please let us know!
