Light in autumn

I’ve been taking pictures of late afternoon light in various places this month – it’s a gorgeous time of year as the sun goes north, but the cold hasn’t really arrived (the nights are cooler, which makes for good sleeping). Late in the day the shadows lengthen but the sun is still strong enough to put a glow on everything. I love it. Here are some snaps – featuring Auburn, the Botanical Gardens (which I have been to a couple of times in the past few weeks), North Terrace buildings and trees with sun on their trunks…
